The Raj Square Charity Foundation is a Private Foundation (a part of MIT Square Group of Companies) that was formally established on Jan 1st, 2020.
The Raj Scholarships and Learn4Free Programs were running informally
from Jan 2010 under the Leadership of Mithileysh Sathiyanarayanan in fond memory of the late Raj brothers (Varda Raj, Kesava Raj and Selva Raj).
Following our Vision 2020, we set up the foundation in Bangalore, India as a non-profit organisation (NPO), and our officers and board of directors include family members and friends. The foundation is also called a non-government organisation (NGO) or voluntary organisation (VO).
The foundation operates without permanent staff and its board of directors serves without compensation
for administration and contribution. Creating this Foundation was a purposeful decision of the original donors with
clear goals and intent - to support students, women, and old people who require financial assistance. Our wish is that
the Foundation will unlock a path for people to make a positive impact in their communities. We want the Foundation to
reflect on life, how to approach it, how to renew it, and how to make a tangible impact.
We are part of building 'New India' and addressing the 'Gig Economy', `Startup India', ‘Make in India’, ‘Digital India’, `Standup India', `Skill India', 'Self-reliant India', and 'Clean India' by adopting Sustainable Development Goals.
RAJ stands for Raise and Amplify by Joining us. Square represents "People + Partner + Persistence + Prosperity" with the tagline "Count on us anytime".
