RAJ Square Charity Foundation & MIT Square in association with LIONS CLUB OF CHENNAI ENTREPRENEURS organised a Mega Cultural Event, RISE UP 2022, to educate and empower youth, on International Day of Education (24th January).


International Women's Day 2022

RAJ Square Charity Foundation in association with MIT Square, Google's Women Techmakers and Google Developer Groups, Chennai celebrated International Women's Day by organising "Google for Girls" program to educate girl children in Chennai on how to use various Google Products for their education and future.

Mega Free Eye Camp 2021

RAJ Square Charity Foundation in association with MIT Square & Mangaladeepam under the aegis of Sri Sairam Engineering College NSS organised Free Eye Camp for the needy. The event was generously sponsored by Rajan Eye Care Hospital and Rotary Club of Madras Temple City.

NATIONAL YOUTH DAY

Dr Mithileysh gave a talk on the topic - "Channelizing Youth Power for Nation Building" on "National Youth Day" which is celebrated as Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary (12 Jan 2021).

NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY

Raj Square Charity Foundation in association with MIT Square celebrated "National Science Day" (February 28th), to remember historic invention, "Raman Effect", by India's greatest scientist C V Raman.

Dr Mithileysh discussed on the theme for this year "Future of STI: Impacts on Education, Skills, and Work" - which aims to motivate the students to gain hands-on experience in the field of science. The session had students, researchers, teachers, lecturers, professors, academic leaders & management.

WORLD ENGINEERING DAY

Raj Square Charity Foundation in association with MIT Square celebrated "World Engineering Day" (March 04th). Dr Mithileysh discussed on the theme for this year “Engineering for a Healthy Planet - Celebrating the UNESCO Engineering Report”, which will focus on celebrating the launch of the 2nd UNESCO Engineering Report “Engineering for Sustainable Development: Delivering on the Sustainable Development Goals”. The session had researchers, teachers, lecturers, professors, academic leaders & management.

ICWMR 2021

Raj Square Charity Foundation (RSCF) and MIT Square in association with The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) and The Electro Inventor organised the First International Conference for Women in Multifaceted Research (ICWMR) to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8th 2021.

Women in Science & Engineering (WISE)

The Special Session on “Women in Science & Engineering (WISE)” at the International Conference for Women in Multifaceted Research (ICWMR) is led by the students of Sri Sairam Engineering College who are currently interning with MIT Square and volunteering with Raj Square Charity Foundation (RSCF), India.

To celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8th 2021, the women students from Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai academically mentored by Dr Sumathi S and Dr Panjavarnam B; industrially mentored by Ms Bhuvaneshwari and Dr Mithileysh; are organising a special session on “Women in Science & Engineering (WISE)”. This is part of the Standup India Initiative and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) initiated by the United Nations.

WORLD BOOK DAY

Raj Square Charity Foundation in association with MIT Square celebrated "World Book Day" (April 23th). This special day is celebrated to recognise and promote the benefit of reading books, publishing and copyright. World Book Day is organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO). This year is the 25th edition of World Book Day.

Dr Mithileysh discussed on the importance of publishing books and articles. The session had students, researchers, teachers, lecturers, professors, academic leaders & management.

WORLD INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY DAY

Raj Square Charity Foundation in association with MIT Square celebrated "World Intellectual Property Day" (April 26th). This special day is celebrated with the aim of increasing general understanding of intellectual property (IP). Also, to recognise and promote the benefit of obtaining IP rights. The theme for this year "IP & SMEs: Taking your ideas to market" - the main aim is to throw light on the critical role of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the economy and how they can use intellectual property (IP) rights to build stronger, more competitive and resilient businesses.

Ms Aruna HP, Chief Innovation Officer of MIT Square, India discussed the importance of intellectual property rights in academic research and how this will play a critical role in turning ideas into startups and build a competitive market.

INTERNATIONAL WORKERS DAY

Raj Square Charity Foundation in association with MIT Square celebrated "International Worker's Day" (May 1st). The special day is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of workers. It is celebrated to honour the dedication and contribution of the working community to the growth of the nation.

Dr Mithileysh discussed how to productively work from home in the New Normal. The session had students, researchers, teachers, lecturers, professors, academic leaders & management.

NATIONAL TECHNOLOGY DAY

Raj Square Charity Foundation in association with MIT Square celebrated "National Technology Day" (May 11th). It is celebrated to highlight the achievements of engineers and scientists in the field of technology and science. The day acts as a reminder of the country's technological advancements. It was first observed on May 11, 1999, and aims to commemorate the scientific and technological achievements of Indian scientists and engineers.

Dr Mithileysh discussed how Science and Technology can be embraced deeply for a sustainable future. The session had students, researchers, teachers, lecturers, professors, academic leaders & management.

International EduTech Innovative Summit (IEIS)

Dr Mithileysh was invited by the International EduTEch Innovative Summit to discuss the changing world scenario in India's skill development, technology & innovative teachings.

MIT Square is one of the knowledge partner and Raj Square Charity Foundation is one of the NGO partner for the International EduTech Innovative Summit 2021.

World Environment Week - Trained by International Corporate Gurus (TICG)

RAJ Square Charity Foundation in association with MIT Square™ and Srivenkateshwaraa College of Engineering & Technology celebrated "World Environment Week" by organising a 6-day International Flagship Online Training Series, “Trained by International Corporate Gurus (TICG)” from June 7th to 12th 2021.

We invited speakers across the globe to talk about sustainable solutions to support our environment.

FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN 2021

RAJ Square Charity Foundation in association with MIT Square is playing a key role in the Fit India Movement. The movement is to take the nation on a path of fitness and wellness. This will provide a unique and exciting opportunity to work towards a healthier India. To celebrate National Sports Day (29th August), we organised FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN. We motivated students, professionals and homemakers to take part in the virtual run.

WORLD ENTREPRENEUR'S DAY

Dr Mithileysh discussed how to productively run a business from home in the new normal on World Entrepreneur Day (Aug 21st).


INTERNATIONAL LITERACY DAY

Dr Mithileysh discussed the importance of literacy to the government school teachers in Tamilnadu on International Literacy Day (Sep 8th).

WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY

Ms Sujal BH, Volunteer at Raj Square Charity Foundation discussed the importance to raise awareness of mental issues and how to support people with mental issues on World Mental Health Day (Oct 10th).

Sujal and other volunteers have worked on mental health datasets of various organisations to provide deeper insights for better lifestyle.

TRUST-IN RUN 2021

RAJ Square Charity Foundation in association with Trust-in Hospital organised TRUST-IN RUN to spread awareness about breast cancer. The event was organised on 14th November 2021 considering Breast Cancer Awareness Month (Oct 2021) and National Cancer Awareness Day (7th Nov 2021).

The movement is to take the nation on a path of fitness and wellness. This will provide a unique and exciting opportunity to work towards a healthier India. We motivated students, professionals and homemakers to take part in the run.

NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN'S DAY

Ms Bhuvaneshwari gave a talk on World Children's Day (also called International Children's Day, that is 20 Nov 2021) to make parents aware of the importance of spending time with their children. Parents need to disconnect themselves from their gadgets during the evening times and spend time with their children -- playing, talking or eating with them.

National Children's Day in India is celebrated on 14th Nov every year.

INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY

School4Change is a social initiative to bring a change in the education system. They were keen to introduce Robotic Classes for their NightSchool to support underprivileged students. The inauguration took place on International Human Rights Day (10 December 2021). Raj Square Charity Foundation sponsored Robotic Kits for their students to learn and develop.

National Youth Day

Dr Mithileysh gave a talk on the topic - "Youth Engagement for Global Action using the Latest Technologies" on "National Youth Day" which is celebrated as Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary (12 Jan 2020).

International Day of Education

Dr Mithileysh gave an online talk on the topic -"Future of Education in Engineering" on "International Day of Education" (24 Jan 2020).

National Science Day

HKBK Engineering College invited our CEO, Dr Mithileysh for "Lunch with CEO" session which had lecturers, professors, academic leaders & management.

Being invited on the "National Science Day" (February 28th), Dr Mithileysh discussed on the theme for this year "Women in Science" - a special focus on contributions and efforts by women scientists. Also, stressing the importance of more contributions from young women engineers. Also, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science was observed (February 11th).

Women in Science & Engineering (WISE)

The Special Session on “Women in Science & Engineering (WISE)” at the IEEE International Conference on Smart Technologies in Computing, Electrical and Electronics (ICSTCEE) is led by the students of Sri Sairam Engineering College who are currently interning with MIT Square and volunteering with Raj Square Charity Foundation (RSCF), India.

To celebrate International Women in Engineering Day on June 23rd 2020, the women students from Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai academically mentored by Dr Sumathi S and Dr Panjavarnam B; industrially mentored by Ms Bhuvaneshwari and Dr Mithileysh; are organising a special session on “Women in Science & Engineering (WISE)”. Ms Bhuvaneshwari, President of Raj Square Charity Foundation was invited as a Chief Guest for the "World Disability Day", organised by Collective action for Basic Rights Foundation (CBRF), to address the importance of celebrating abilities"(December 3rd).

IEEE Bahrain 2020

Prof Sushila Rajan and Dr Mithileysh presented a work on 'Extended Microteaching (XMT): Innovative Teaching Pedagogies for the New Normal Education System in India" at the Sixth IEEE International Conference on E-learning organised in Bahrain (December 6-7th). The article is published in the IEEE.

FIT India Cyclothon 2020

RAJ Square Charity Foundation in association with MIT Square & Coach Direct organised Fit India Cyclothon. We motivated students, professionals and homemakers to take part in the cyclothon.
