Green Health India Initiative (GHII) focuses on FIT India, wellness, well-being, spiritualness, enlivening, and virtual health consultancy.

We are playing a key role in the Fit India Movement. The movement is to take the nation on a path of fitness and wellness. This will provide a unique and exciting opportunity to work towards a healthier India. We motivate students, professionals and homemakers to take part in running, cycling, yoga, exercises and so on.

We are playing a role in the eye care awareness. It is the responsibility of every human being to repay the society by serving the downtrodden people suffering from eye issues. Such awareness and healthcare camps shall be proved boon for the poor and needy people residing in remote areas.  This will provide a unique and exciting opportunity to work towards a healthier India. We motivate doctors and other healthcare professionals to take part in the camps.

Our main goal is to help reach out and inform women who are in need for help.  We also want to spread awareness of Cancer.

"Early detection = Early diagnoses =  Early Prognosis"

We are keen to help youngsters be better updated about themselves. Increase the percentage of youths getting regular checkups which will decrease the percentage of youth who are diagnosed with cancer. Also, we hope to cut down future medical costs by catching and treating symptoms early.  We can save more lives by early detection of cancer.

Menstruation is an integral and normal part of human life, indeed of human existence, and menstrual hygiene is fundamental to the dignity and wellbeing of women and girls and an important part of the basic hygiene, sanitation and reproductive health services to which every woman and girl has a right. We are conducting programs and events to create menstrual health and hygiene awareness.

The App can be downloaded for FREE from the link provided above. It gives you a comprehensive overview of the tally of cases and other relevant info from the World Health Organisation (WHO), the Health Ministry of India and top tweets from the officials to keep you updated about the COVID -19.

The app is developed by the students of Sairam Engineering College, Chennai under the leadership of Dr Mithileysh. The students volunteered with the RAJ SQUARE CHARITY FOUNDATION to help people learn and get aware on the ongoing pandemic COVID-19.

• The first version of the app was released on 02 April 2020 to commemorate the visionary leader, Mr Leo Muthu, Founder of the "Sairam Institutions".

• The second version of the app was released on 07 April 2020 to celebrate World Health Day. 

• The updated version was released on 12 May 2020 to celebrate International Nurses Day. 

We have 100+ volunteers as students, lecturers, academic leaders, PPE manufacturers and healthcare professionals who are playing an important role in offering support to senior citizens and vulnerable people in fighting coronavirus. 

Some of the activities we are part of:

• Delivering food, water and medicines.

• Fetching Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Providing Helpline Numbers.

• Skype calls to motivate and explain the reality about health & hygiene, personal protection, isolation and physical/social distancing based on the WHO guidelines.

• Connecting to the nearest hospitals.

• Conducting COVID Self-assessments powered by Apollo Hospital.

• Installing our own mobile app for the community to get the latest updates.
